Remove baskets from the handle

Fill a jug or plastic tub with boiling water.

Mix in one teaspoon of cleaning powder
Four
Drop the basket and handle in, which is best to do so over a sink.
Five
The cleaning powder will react with the coffee tannis and creates a foam. Allow to soak for 5 minutes then wipe and rinse both parts.
